About

Work hard. Have fun.

I am a native of Southern California. I have run over 35+ years, 40 marathons and over 300 races since 1993. I am a Rescue Scuba Diver (PADI). I practice Bikram Yoga 5x a week. I keep my life in a very positive “cup ½ full” attitude. Anything is possible, no one or anything will ever stand in the way of your dreams and goals.

In the early 80’s I worked for Richard Simmons and joined his facility as a member when he had his Anatomy Asylums in Beverly Hills. I weighed 210lbs at that point and lost 18lbs in the first month. That is when Richard approached me and asked me how I was doing it and if I would like to be an instructor 2x a week. By the time we opened the new Woodland Hills location I was head instructor, teaching 10 classes a week and program director.

We developed a food program which is the same one I use today with my clients. This program is called the OWA program. OWA, Overweighter Aiders,  was designed for people who are 25+ lbs overweight. I lost close to 100lbs on this food plan over 25 years ago and kept it off. So I know it works!
